The Contacts page is your online address book. It allows you to neatly organise your contacts however you wish. You can access your contacts by clicking the link in the top right-hand side of the page. You can also access them on the left side when composing an email. This allows you to quickly send emails to your contacts with a click of a few buttons.

This guide covers:
- Adding, editing & deleting contacts
- Importing & exporting contacts
- Sorting & grouping contacts
- Searching for contacts

1. Contacts toolbar
This toolbar allows you to use quick functions within your contacts such as importing or printing.
- Import/export: This will allow you to insert or download contacts to/from your webmail from/to another source such as an email client. Scroll down for further information regarding import/exporting.
- Compose: Clicking this while having one of your contacts selected, will bring you to the composing screen with the To field already populated with this contacts address.
- Print: This allows you to print the currently selected contact and their details.
- Advanced: This is an advanced version of the search bar in section Five. Scroll further down for a guide.
- More: This is where you can find the option to make a QR code for the selected contact, assign to group, remove from group and copy to options
2. Groups
As the name suggests, groups are collections of contacts. These could be your work colleagues or your family. This is useful for organisational purposes but you can also use these when composing an email by quickly adding the whole group to the email.
3. Contact list
All the contacts in the currently selected group will be listed here, you can list all of your contacts by selecting Personal Addresses.
4. Contact properties
Clicking on a contact will show you their details that you have populated. You can add a range of details to each of your contacts, including a display picture (this will only be visible to you).
5. Search contacts
This allows you to quickly search through your contacts via text searches. If you prefer a more advanced search, see section One.
Contacts
Your contact list is located in the middle section and displays all your contacts in Personal Addresses. If you have Groups created, they will be listed under the group name.
Adding a contact
Everytime you send an email to a new address, they are added to your address book automatically. To add a new contact manually, first click on the Plus symbol just below your contact list.
A new blank profile should be loaded on the right. Here, you can enter a range of details for the contact, such as phone number, address and much more.
The first section is where you can fill in their name and titles. This information is the main information that the address book will use to sort and show the contact in any search results. You can read more about navigating your contacts in the next section below.
You can use the drop down box if you would like to add another field to this section, such as their title or display name.
Adding a display picture
In the same section as above, you can add a display picture to each contact. Simply press the add button below the grey placeholder image.
This will then bring up your file system. Choose your desired picture from your photos and press open/select. This will add the image straight away. Unfortunately, this upload process does not include cropping tools so you will have to do this externally.
If you would like to remove the photo or replace it with another image, you can click on either the Replace or Delete buttons just beneath the already present photo.
Adding contact details
Below the last section is all of the contact information you can fill out for one of your contacts (optional).
We recommend giving each contact at least their email address, but everything is entirely optional.
By default, you will see fields for email, phone and postal address. You can use the dropdown box on the left of each entry to mark what type it is, such as a work email or home address.
You can add more emails, numbers and addresses by using the drop down box at the bottom called Add field. You can even add some extra fields like their website address.
There are also two other tabs just above the email address field. Personal information allows you to add a few further details to the contact such as gender and date of birth. The notes tab allows you to add anything else you may find useful to note down.
Once you have finished filling out your new contacts details, hit Save.
Editing a contact
If you would like to add more information or edit a contact, you can do so by first selecting the contact and pressing the edit button on the right of their display picture.

Share a contact
You can generate a QR code in by selecting a contact and finding the QR Code button in the More drop down menu and send it to someone so they can quickly add that contact with all their details to their contact list. This should work with other webmail and email clients as well. You can also quickly add a contact to your phone using this method.

Please note: You will need an external QR code reading application to use this.
Deleting a contact
You can delete a contact by first selecting them, and then using the X Icon at the bottom of your contacts list.

Sorting your contacts
Sorting your contacts
By default, your contacts are listed by their display name and ordered by the last name field. If a display name does not exist, they will appear as either firstname/lastname or the email address.
You can edit these settings by going to Settings > Preference > Contacts and using a combination of the List contacts as and Sorting column dropdown box to select a different option.

Searching contacts
There are two ways in which you can search your contacts: Quick search and Advanced search.
Quick Search
This is located in the top right of your address book (Section Five of the layout guide). Here, you can perform a quick search of the text you enter. This will search all of the main fields in each contact, such as their first/last name, display name and email address.
Advanced Search
This can be accessed on the toolbar (Section One of the layout guide). This will list all of the possible fields a contact could have, each with their own individual text search. This allows you to search your address book by individual fields. You can also fill out multiple search fields if you wish.
Once you are ready to search, press the enter button on your keyboard.
